For more than two decades, I operated as the trusted right hand to some of the world's most influential chief executives across finance, retail, technology, and aerospace. My mandate was singular: design and execute high-stakes private events, summits, and experiences for enterprise executives, corporate boards, institutional investors, and ultra-high-net-worth families.

Often under extreme time constraints. Always with zero margin for error.

The requests ranged from securing institutional access that didn't officially exist to architecting multi-day closed-door summits in locations known only to those who move quietly and decisively. I learned early in the C-suite that the most masterful events leave no fingerprints. You walk in, and everything is simply, effortlessly right.

The Evolution of the Room

After years of delivering this work internally for global entities, I launched a dedicated public practice. But after designing massive industry conferences, product launches, and opulent charity galas, I reached a blunt realization: The traditional corporate event format is fundamentally broken.

The endless pageantry, the uninspired keynote speeches, the passive sitting, and the bureaucratic box-checking of the masses do not drive corporate growth. They breed complacency.

True transformation does not happen while staring at a PowerPoint slide in a crowded convention hall. It happens when the mind is fully engaged, the stakes are real, and the environment demands complete presence.

Velocity, Composure, & Unfiltered Scale

I am an active participant, not a spectator. I am a lifelong petrolhead, an avid motorcycle rider and enthusiast, and currently a Top 60 US-ranked Masters sprinter. I have spent my life operating at the intersection of high velocity and forced composure. I know intimately that the human brain retains, adapts, and problem-solves best when the heart rate is elevated and personal limits are actively tested.

I remember the exact moment the vision for PhoenixNormand Events crystallized. I was driving my CEO to take delivery of his dream car—a Mercedes-Benz AMG GT Black Series. As we slowly steered that machine off the showroom floor and directly into the friction of San Francisco Peninsula traffic, we both smiled like little kids.

It was the perfect metaphor for modern leadership: managing raw, high-octane horsepower with absolute, precise composure amidst a chaotic environment.

That is what we build.
